Draper Public Forest Campground
2022 SEASON OPENS MID-MAY
(CALL TO CHECK DATES)
The Town of Draper has a beautiful tent and RV campground located right off the Tuscobia Trail, at the intersection of State Hwy 70 and County Rd M in Draper, WI. Sites cost $25 per night. Call a week ahead if you know you are coming and we will make an effort to reserve you a spot on the morning of your arrival. Otherwise, camping is on a first come-first served basis.
The campground is landscaped with natural boulders, beautiful old growth trees and charming Northwoods character.
The sites are level and freshly graveled, and most are set far back from the road for privacy and to accommodate larger RVs. They have new fire rings and new large picnic tables. New electric panels offer 30 and 50 amp service for each site. Firewood is available on site for a donation.
The campground was built in cooperation with the DNR at a size that doesn't require an onsite dump station. The designated dump station for the campground is approximately 10 miles southeast, on Cty W at the Flambeau River Forest Station. There is a $10 fee for using the station if you do not have a current State Park sticker.
There are several bars and restaurants within easy distance to the campground, accessible by ATV. Stop in for local color, trail reports, and traditional Northwoods food and drinks.
If you love the Northwoods and are looking for a great location and value for your vacation, come stay with us! You will love it!
