Resolution #12-2023 Resolve Emergency Communications Issues

Resolution #12-2023 to Resolve Emergency Communications Issues was adopted on July 10, 2023 at the regular town board meeting. The resolution formally demands Sawyer County action to resolves the decades-long failure of emergency communications radios and pagers in the township, which deprives Draper residents of a fully functioning 911 system for emergency responders and places our community at risk.

A full signed copy of the resolution will be presented to County Board Supervisor Ed Peters for advocacy and consideration at the August Public Safety Committee meeting and then hopefully to the County Board.
