The Special Meeting of Town Electors was called to order November 20, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. to vote on adopting the total 2024 property tax levy payable in 2025 of $185,637.00. The proposed property tax levy includes the ordinary tax plus the yearly payments on the existing BCPL loans for the Komatsu excavator, the Fire Department Tender, the Chevy 5500 pickup/dump, and the new Western Star dump/plow plus interest on the unused portion of that loan that is being paid off on January 2. Ed Peters made a motion to adopt the levy, seconded by Maria Frederick: by a show of hands, eight (8) electors voted aye in favor, one (1) voted no, and three (3) abstained, motion carried. The Resolution 15-2024 of Electors to Adopt the Total Tax Levy of $185,637.00 was signed. With no further discussion, the meeting adjourned at 6:35 p.m
